AWCH has a wide and spacious emergency room that is fully functional around the clock. The emergency room is equipped with all the necessary facilities and has a team of well-trained doctors who are always available to provide appropriate treatment to patients in need. The emergency room features a triage area, a minor operating theatre (OT), a procedure room, and 16 observation beds to cater to the needs of all patients. The AWCH emergency room is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the best care possible during medical crises.

Other Services

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/High Dependency Unit (HDU)

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides medical attention to adult patients who are in serious condition, need assistance with breathing, or require continuous surveillance and care.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at AWCH is a state-of-the-art facility that provides critical care and support to premature and full-term babies who require specialized medical attention.

Child Development Center (CDC)

AWCH has got a well-equipped Child Development Centre to provide services for developmental disabilities and neurological impairments for the patients who require it as OPD basis.

Out Patient Department (OPD)

The OPD services of AWCH are available every day from 8 am to 8 pm throughout the year.

Laboratory Services

We have a fully operational laboratory that can perform any tests necessary to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients, both inpatient and outpatient.

Ultrasonography

We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art Ultrasonography department to our patients. The department is equipped with the latest technology, and the sonologists who operate the equipment are highly experienced in their field.

Anesthesiology

The Department of Anesthesiology at AWCH is staffed with a highly skilled and experienced team of anesthesiologists. They are dedicated to providing safe and effective anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring that they are comfortable and pain-free throughout the process.

Vaccination Center

AWCH runs a vaccination and immunization center, and the vaccination and immunization services are available from 8 am to 4 pm every day, 365 days of the year.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy Department of AWCH provides a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical services to all patients. Its objective is to provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care to achieve outcomes that improve patients’ quality of life.

Nutrition Care

The Nutrition Department offers expert dietary services designed to meet the diverse needs of patients throughout various life stages. Our experienced dietitian provides comprehensive and individualized care, focusing on both everyday nutritional needs and specific dietary modifications during illness.

Blood Bank

At AWCH, many of our patients require transfusions, and we have a Blood Bank Laboratory to provide them with the safest possible blood.

Ambulance Services

The availability of an ambulance is crucial in the event of a medical emergency. The ambulances at AWCH are used for both emergency medical services and transporting patients to other higher facilities for further medical care.
