Our services are supported by a team of 35 doctors including 16 highly qualified skilled Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors/Consultants) to ensure that our patients are in the safe hands. Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynaecology is available in the hospital premises round the clock throughout the year. Here in AWCH we offer excellent diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and counselling services. We have a long list of treatments and services to offer. Some of them include management of high-risk pregnancies, management of normal and instrumental delivery. Laparoscopic surgeries – diagnostic and therapeutic are also done here. We are the pioneer in the country in avoiding unnecessary caesarean sections and promoting normal delivery.
 
Our Consultants have years of experience in treating infertility and they guide families in assessing their situation and deciding on the most appropriate treatment.
 
The work experience in the department is recognized as training completed for appearing FCPS examination by Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons.
