World Breastfeeding Week was observed today at the children’s playground of Ashulia Women and Children Hospital through a colorful program attended by around 20–25 breastfeeding mothers. AWCH actively engaged the local community in this day-long awareness campaign, which was also joined by a significant number of school teachers, garment workers, and nurses from different local clinics and nursing colleges.
The importance of breastfeeding for both babies and mothers was highlighted through presentations, demonstrations by the LMC, experience sharing, and open discussions. On this special occasion, we express our profound respect and gratitude to the pioneer of the breastfeeding campaign, National Professor Dr. MQK Talukder, who is also the Chairman of this hospital.
