The Department of Ophthalmology at AWCH provides both basic and specialized eye care services for patients. Our trained and experienced consultants offer specialized treatment for a wide variety of eye problems.

Specialized equipment is used for the treatment of different eye diseases, and computerized visual field analysers are available for the assessment of glaucoma. Our consultants, trained in optometry, assist in prescribing glasses for both adults and children.

Surgeries are conducted in the state-of-the-art operation theatres of the hospital, and over 90% of the surgeries do not require hospital admission.
